Some easy steps to fix HP printer errors

Mainly when an HP printer cause any problems , it shows on monitor. But sometime errors may be mystery. Sometimes it shows "couldn't print document  name", "Error printing on HP0F6EC7"(on HP ENVY 7640 series), etc., . In this case we go on wild-goose chase. But w shouldn't do that instead of this w should find the exact solution for it. It's better to firstly try a series of routine troubleshooting steps. If it doesn't fix the error, then you may find the solution in Hp Printer Support.

STEP 1

Make sure that the cables are properly connected. If you have a doubt then you may disconnect all the cables and reconnect them again. Turn on the printer and check that the error has cleared.

STEP 2

Check all the parts that they are installed properly or not. Also check if the cartridge are filled or not. If the ink  cartridge ink is empty, replace it with a new . If  the ink is sufficient, reinstall the cartridge and the print heads. 

STEP 3

Check that HP printer's software is properly installed. If device doesn't respond, uninstall and reinstall the HP printer software. 

STEP 4

Check computer's firewall is it preventing the HP printer from functioning properly. Open firewall preference and add the printer software executable file(*exe ) or disable the firewall temporarily to see if this fixes the error. 

STEP 5

If  the pages don't print properly, make sure that the margins are set to at least the minimum that your printer supports. Also make sure that you've selected the correct setting. To access these printer setting more easily, open the HP printer support.

STEP 6

Clean the printing cartridges. Double click on the  HP printer icon in the system tray on the bottom right of the screen. look under "status" in the printing queue to read the error messages. Right-click on the entries and "cancel".

STEP 7

Click on "Support and Troubleshooting."Then  Click on "solve a Problem" to find solution for the HP printer's specific error. Also sure that the "Software and Downloads" area for software and drive updates.
